Perez Hilton is reporting that Jonathon Knight of New Kids on the Block is allegedly gay! What?! My gaydar must need new batteries because I didn't see that coming. Apparently, he has a boyfriend named Harley. [Insert Jonathon Knight riding a Harley Davidson joke here.]
Here is Michael Phelps' on the cover of Corn Flakes, tell me what's wrong with this picture:
Where's the body?! The hand that's on the lane divider looks like it was mangled during a paper shredding accident. Way to go Kelloggs, you picked the worst picture of the human fish possible! Perez Hilton made his own box of Corn Flakes that makes me definitely want to eat...
MMmmm..."Thank you sir, may I have another?" Things I want to be: that blue speedo. You know what? Froggy is constantly saying Phelp's has a busted face, but I'd rather have that kind of guy than some Douchey McDoucherson who has a faux-hawk and wears Armani Exchange. No thanks to that! I like the nerdy ones...

Week 2 of my new training regime to win the Himalaya 100 Mile Race in
India in November. My eagerly anticpated visit to one of our few
remaining pink bits on the map is bound to cause huge interest in that
small outpost of the British Empire. I'll obviously be getting in touch
with the race organiser (a nice chap called Charles) to make sure he
has all the advanced promo stuff he needs for my visit. So far the chap
seems a good egg and my entry together with that of the Half Share in
the House is confirmed and my flights booked.
So how's training gone in week 2?
It hasn't.
You
see what ordinary people don't understand is that the life of an
Olympic champion isn't just about personal appearances, medal
ceremonies, adulation and appearances on Jonathan Ross. Domestic chores
- particularly those normally done by women - sometimes have to take
priority. And so it was that I found myself in the middle of a muddy
field in Stiletto City over the weekend.
With my eldest Cash
Drainer Haille-Minogue currently in Peking for the Chinese Olympics I
was handed the task of escorting middle Cash Drainer The Droog to some
flippin' pop concert in Chelmsford at the weekend. Prior to going I'd
done a decent gym session down at Stallones, ran a nippy 5 mile
training run but nothing too strenous - so feeling pretty confident I
took my pumps and shorts with me to Chelmsford for something called the
V Festival.
And I only went and knacked my bloody knee!
Whilst
dodging vomit, mud, obnoxious oiks high on some drugs and sheltering my
ears from The Third Pooh From the Left or whatever the name of the
ruddy band was, I fell against a metal bar - and that was it. I ended
up limping back from the hell hole and I've been laid up ever since.
I
now need physio and my knee needs a complete rest for a week - which
for an Olympic Champion is darn near a lifetime. Fortunately I'm in
France over the weekend doing a touch of long-distance walking to try
and build up my stamina. With Himalaya Charlie warning me that this 100
Mile Race is a tad on the hilly side, I thought some dune walking along
the coast in Northern France might do me some good.
Obviously
though, whilst I've been injured I've had to do some serious couch
sitting and I've had time to catch a few bits of the Chinese Olympics
in Peking. And what a farce it is. The performance of Paul Radcliffe
last Sunday in the marathon was nothing short of woeful and simply adds
fuel to the argument for my inclusion in that event this year.
Incidentally am I the only one to think that Radcliffe looks a touch
feminine when he's running? Maybe a hair cut and different pair of
shorts would help him.
But taking away the soft sitting down
sports - the rowing boats, sailing boats, horse riding, and bicycling
(what is that yobbo event with kids bicycles all about?) - we've not
really brought home the bacon have we? The runners have done little,
the wrestling chaps haven't been seen, the shooting guys and the bow
and arrows team bottled it - in fact only the swimmers have a couple of
medals to their name. And, you see in this kiddies mind, these are the
proper Olympic sports. The real deal. Forget rounders - in fact, forget
any game that needs a bat or a ball - and stick simply to those sports
that would make those original Olympians from Italy proud. That means
sticking to running, throwing, shooting things and fighting. And that
should be it. Otherwise we might just as well include stone skimming,
pie eating and bicycles with stabilisers in the flippin' competition.
And
another thing. There's no place for kids in the modern Olympics. It's
an adult competition. That means there should be no room for little
boys in the Jumping In competition. Mind you it warmed the old cockles
seeing his adult partner putting the little runt in his place. And no
room either for girls throwing things or kicking things. Have you seen
those girls playing football? They can't even kick the ball properly!!
Just so girly with their 'kick the ball without bending the knee'
actions. In fact, follow the Ron way of doing Olympics and you could
have the whole thing wrapped up in a week too.
Anyway, its back
to the serious stuff this weekend. I'll be making a public appearance
at the Rye Summer Classic Series in Rye on Friday. I'm obviously the
main VIP and I'm starting the 5K event. I'll also be signing a few
autographs and generally meeting some of my loyal Ronnettes. If you're
around, why not come along and see me do my anal crunch and pelvic
squirt routine?
Hopefully though, by Monday, I'll be back in the old training regime with some better news to report.

Awakening The Healer Within: A Medical Intuitive Story
By: Oly Schalow
"I do not belong here" was a recurring thought during my childhood. In searching for love, acceptance and a sense of purpose in life, I decided to try and change the world - starting with my own family. Although I tirelessly took responsibility for parents, siblings, friends, and later on, even my husband, my efforts to change others did not work. On the contrary, it led to regrets, guilt, innumerable diseases, medical treatments and hospital visits.
After years of pain, I learned to close my heart and let go of my vision of "an evolved world." Instead, I decided to integrate into the "real world" by excelling in academics. After obtaining a law degree and multiple postgraduate degrees in Europe and United States, and attaining corporate positions, I concluded: "I am finally in control." I have success, recognition, and am financially well off. I left out one small detail: my joy.
All those years of hospital visits, when the only agreement among the clinicians was there was something really wrong with me. When I opened my heart and mind, I found the world of holistic medicine. I transitioned from being a lawyer to a practitioner of energy medicine, qigong and medical intuition. Balancing energies to release pain, looking at the entire person vs. symptoms and body parts - what a unique concept!
I still had a question, a question that came to me daily in early childhood - why? .. Why me? This question led me to seek within and I gradually developed the ability to see and listen to the energy body identifying the direct root cause of every emotional and physical symptom.
Caring physicians and other healthcare professionals began asking me to assist them with some of their more difficult cases. I cared for many young children with chronic respiratory, digestive or other issues who felt responsible for their parents' emotions. Others required assistance to release pre-natal/karmic issues. Women healed breast cancer as they mastered the art of self-nurturing. Men let go of bladder or prostate cancer as they uncovered some past resentment and learned to flow with life more easily. Chronic pain of all sorts melted away as people applied forgiveness to past hurts. All were supported in an environment of unconditional love and acceptance.
"Thank you for the hip replacement" said a volunteer in one of my Unleash your Intuition workshops. When the root cause of a debilitating pain was revealed, she finally forgave her mother and in minutes the pain completely disappeared - not to return. Healing through truth, love and forgiveness works every time, with more or less assistance depending on our level of readiness and self-empowerment.
In healing myself, I have found my purpose - to assist others on their own journey.
I enjoy supporting those in their healing path with a deeper understanding of the root cause of their disease, assisting them to find health and harmony as well as offering simple self-healing tools to help them create an ongoing dialogue with their bodies.
As a Medical Intuitive, I learned to connect with my soul's guidance and my life flows now with ease. I enjoy a Universe that is designed to care for and nurture all of its creatures. I discovered that intuition is not a gift, it is a choice and I feel passionate about empowering others by teaching them how to develop, access and trust their intuition to whatever level they need to assist themselves or their clients.
We are all born with a profound sense of inner knowing, which keeps us connected to our higher selves. We have a support system that is there to guide us throughout our lives. I encourage everyone to let the heart take the lead, leave the ego behind and live an inspired life.
As my heart opens more and more, I am finding truth, deep love and appreciation, for everyone just the way they are. I have also embarked on a journey towards unconditional and fearless self love, a spiritual journey I did not expect.
After endless stories of self-discovery and healing, I finally belong. I realized that we are here at a unique time in history, not to conform but to transform ourselves, and by doing so, also our planet.

I promised myself this morning that I would write on my blog tonight but to be perfectly honest I cannot not think of anything interesting to say. Having read through some of the other posts tonight it would appear I am not alone in this respect. Even Brendano who used to have something to say appears to have resorted to stirring up the trolls he states he despises. When will this constant childish bickering end? I will therefore wish you all goodnight and retire to my bed with a book. Perhaps tomorrow will be more stimulating.

So here's a little history behind Jason and myself. We met at the school we work at. Jason would talk about me with the computer guy at our school!! Haha! He finally got the guts to ask me out. I didnt think it would be a good move to go for him, but I went on a hunch and im so happy I did because I found my soulmate! We kept our relationship secret at work. When we would walk by each other we would only say hi! We never sat by each other at lunch. It was kind of awkward but funny too. Jason was sent to my class in the middle of the year as an intervention teacher. He worked in my class with my kids every week! It was fun to have him get to know my class. He is great with kids. Only the computer guy(Ortiz) knew about us. And then my friend Gwen. I think by the end of the year a couple more teachers found out about us but we still kept it a pretty good secret!!
Jason is very simple and I am very fashionable. I like to dress up anywhere I go, and Jason wears basketball shorts and t-shirts everywhere he goes! Im trying to add a little more style in his life. He likes to go camping and I like 5-star hotels!! He doesnt care to go out, and I love to go dancing. Bu****hink we balance each other out. He gets me to step outside of my box and I get him to step out of his!
